We had another amazing final day celebration for our latest intake of cadets in August. Thank you to our awesome speakers Pa Ropata and David Brown, to our Operations Manager Wayne for being MC for the event, and to our epic cadets. Your presentations were spectacular, and we wish you all the best on your journeys going forward.

This was intake 8 of the BCA Cadet Programme, which gives people the chance to gain 12 weeks of paid training in the skills and knowledge necessary to find employment in the conservation sector. Many of our past cadets have gone on to find fantastic jobs working towards protecting New Zealand’s diverse and unique wildlife and habitats.

At the end of each intake we invite the cadets and their families to join us for a day of celebration, acknowledging all their hard work, and the journey they have been on.
